RECREATION:

Lifeguards (Seasonal) - We're seeking lifeguards to join our team. As a new lifeguard you will:
Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment, employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations, respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by Owners' Club policy, assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center

The Ideal Candidate would have: **

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
  • Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification (including CPR/AED/First Aid) or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire (we will train you if you have no current certification/experience).
  • Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons

Physical Requirements: **

  • Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Frequent walking and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily.


Cafe Attendants (Seasonal) - A cafe attendant’s main responsibilities are taking food and beverage orders and ensuring that customers’ orders are received to their satisfaction. Additional cafe attendant job duties can vary depending on the establishment, but generally include:

  • Assembling and packing food orders in carry-out containers and bags
  • Assisting cooks with food preparation
  • Taking payments for food orders and providing correct change
  • Cleaning tables in dining areas
  • Stocking condiment and beverage stations
  • Taking customer orders at cafe counter
  • Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. No prior experience necessary as we will train the right applicants.

SHENANDOAH RIDING CENTER:


Wranglers (Seasonal) - Want to increase your horse knowledge and customer service skills at the same time and are willing to learn? This is the place for you! We are looking for fun loving individuals to join our team! While working at Shenandoah Riding Center (SRC), you will be guiding trail rides, tacking and grooming horses, helping feed, and maintaining the barn!

This is a part-time position with full-time hours available from April - September. Must be able to to work weekends.
