The word “Shenandoah” is derived from Native American languages, most likely the Algonquin “schind-han-do-wi.”
There are many translations and perhaps the most captivating is “beautiful daughter of the stars.”
We like to think Shenandoah Riding Center was named based on this translation to describe the beauty of The Galena Territory.
Located only 3 miles from Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa and 10 miles from Galena, SRC is unrivaled for its 24 horseback trails that traverse meadows and woodlands abundant with wildlife. Experience The Territory on horseback and take in the captivating views, majestic sunsets and the splendor of Mother Nature.
