Native Plant Sale

Pre-order your plants by April 26
Spring is in the air and many of us are thinking about our gardens and yards, getting out to dabble in the dirt. Native plants are a great addition to garden areas and support our native pollinators: Butterflies and moths, bees and wasps, beetles and ants. These invertebrates, in turn, support the birds we enjoy watching. The Greenspace Advisory Group is hosting a native plant sale.

Trees, shrubs and perennials must be pre-ordered by Thursday, April 26. Please DO NOT include payment with your order. Pick up is Friday, May 26 or Saturday, May 27 in the Owners’ Club parking lot near the Farmers Market area.

This event is also an opportunity to swap out potentially invasive landscape species. Please see the table below for examples. Questions can be directed to Natural Resources Coordinator Emily Lubcke at 815-777-2000 ext. 131.
