The Galena Territory Committees and the Recreation and Activities Department host several parties with great food, wonderful and exciting entertainment guarantees a fun for everyone. This is a great way to meet your Territory neighbors, meet old and new friends.

The Galena Territory Recreation & Activities Department (in conjunction with other groups and committees) hosts several social events. These include (but are not limited to):

• Theme Dinners and Wine & Cheese Socials are a great place to enjoy delicious food, great entertainment and meet your neighbors and make new friends.
• Fishing Contests are sponsored by the Lake Management and Ecology Committee. Contests and tournaments are arranged for all ages.
• Kids’ Holiday Parties are arranged by the Recreation and Activities Department. Games, crafts and activities fill an afternoon of holiday fun.
• Holiday Housewalk is a holiday favorite. Beautifully decorated homes for the holiday season are on display to help raise money for charities in the JoDaviess County area.
