Foundation Info

GALENA TERRITORY FOUNDATION


The Galena Territory Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit charitable organization that provides education-based and fundraising activities for the benefit of the local community. Organized by property owners within The Galena Territory in August of 2000, the foundation is focused on two primary initiatives:  the restoration of Belden School, a one-room schoolhouse built in 1859 located within The Territory and the “Lend A Hand” college scholarship program for local area students.
