The Deer Management Program will start on Tuesday, January 12 and will take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from dawn to dusk, excluding holidays. The goal for the 2009-2010 program is to remove 100 deer from the Territory’s deer herd. We will post another announcement at the completion of the program. This program is vitally important to the health of the herd as well as the ecological balance of The Galena Territory. The processed venison is donated to local food pantries. We appreciate your support of this program.
