    Do you have a hidden passion to learn to paint with oil, acrylics or maybe pastels? If you are a beginner or just need a little help brushing up on your skills or maybe you painted years ago and want to get back in the swing. Janet Checker, a local area artist, teaches at the Owners’ Club Complex every Thursday. Purchase of personal art supplies is required. Off project locations painting trips are also a class favorite.

    Linda Rode will be your instructor and will focus on: Proper breathing techniques for meditation & asana practice The primary openings of the hips and shoulders Extension, flexion and rotation of the spine Linda is a registered Hatha yoga teacher having received her certification through The Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, Illinois. She has practiced yoga for more than 10 years, five of which while living in Japan and Singapore. Linda’s philosophy is that yoga should be accessible to all students and create a feeling of stability and comfort through a series of structured poses. Therefore, props such as blocks, belts, blankets and/or chairs are often used during her classes
