Boat Docking & Storage

The marina features boat docking and storage for GTA members.

Please note:

• There are a limited number of docks and storage spaces available for rent. If there is no available space, your name will be placed on a waiting list and slips that become available will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• All docks and storage space locations are assigned by the Owners’ Club office only.
• All boats and trailers must be registered with the Association office and must have the registration numbers permanently affixed to the equipment.
• All property owners are subject to the rules and regulations of the Galena Territory Association and the Galena Trading Corporation which includes a specific section pertaining to boat storage and docking. The rules and regulations are subject to change.
• An annual ramp fee was established for trailered boats; that is, boats that are not docked or stored at the marina.
• Members are required to keep a copy of their boat title (or current watercraft registration) on file with the office. Use of Lake Galena will be prohibited without the appropriate documentation on file.
• Out of consideration of the residents whose homes look down upon the marina and boat storage pen, please choose a neutral color such as brown, tan or flat grey for your boat cover or tarp when purchasing new or when it is worn and requires replacement.
• Fishing boats, canoes and sailboats are required to provide either a tented cover or a functioning battery operated bilge pump for their boat.
• Effective September 27, 2006, when a member sells their boat to another property owner they do not have the right to transfer the use of the dock to the buyer.
• Specific boat docking and storage conditions are contained in the contract, please read it carefully.
