The Greenspace Committee oversees the ongoing projects of the 1500 acres of Greenspace and develops policy for protection and restorations prairies, savannas, and woodlands. The committee meets the second Saturday of every month at 8:30 AM at the Owners’ Club. Present activities include trail improvement, education/stewardship, surveys/animal management, prairies/woodland management, grant work (EPA 319 grant and IDNR Pond Court restoration), and the student intern program. Committee membership is not limited, so everyone is welcome.
