Walnut Hill Golf Villa Ash Tree Management

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) was confirmed in The Galena Territory, by the Illinois Department of Ag on July 25, 2014. All species in the genus Fraxinus will be impacted by EAB. The result of an EAB infestation is ash tree mortality; all trees will succumb to the borer. The greatest impact EAB will have in The Territory is in landscape planted trees, particularly around the buildings and units of all Satellite Associations and Eagle Ridge’s properties, including all golf courses, club houses and the inn.
