Outdoor pools closed today

The Outdoor pool will be closed today, Sunday, June 25. The air temperature is forecasted to be cooler than 70 degrees. Our policy states, "The Outdoor pool will be open if the air temperature is 70 degrees or warmer, including overcast skies. All property owners and guests are invited to use the Indoor Pool."
The outdoor pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend for property owners and their guests, if the air temperature is 70 degrees or above, including days with overcast skies. During inclement weather (outside air temperature is under 70 degrees and/or rainy or stormy conditions exist or are pending), the outdoor pool will be closed and the indoor pool is available for use by all age groups during the open swim period.

Shenandoah Pro Rodeo

July 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m.
5 & Under Free. It’s Wild, It’s Western, it’s Pro Rodeo competition at its best! The Shenandoah Pro Rodeo will be serving up an exciting slate of competition, 8 seconds at a time! The One Armed Bandit & Company, rodeo’s 12-time entertainer of the year, headlines the Most Wanted “to see” List for the 2017 tour. Since 1988, The One Armed Bandit & Company has thrilled rodeo fans around the world including kings and princes from faraway places. They ride a variety of good horses and mules in this full throttle exhibition of genuine cowboy skills with longhorn steers, buffalo and wild horses. Moving all these animals around an arena the show reaches its grand finale with all atop a custom stock trailer reflecting the excitement and true spirit of the west!Anthony Lucia, star of TV’s Rodeo Girls, and top ProRodeo announcer returns to Galena as emcee extraordinaire and Rider Kiesner, one of rodeo’s young guns of comedy will keep fans on edge of their seats.Want to see a little local talent? The Shenandoah Pro Rodeo invites some of the toughest little buckaroos to get on and hold on tight in the “Mutton Bustin”. Don’t forget about our fireworks spectacular set to music and free barn dance to cap off each night’s entertainment. Join us this July for two great nights of family entertainment at its best!Tickets are $12 in advance and $20 at the gate for adults and $7 in advance. Tickets for children ages 6 to 12 are $7 in advance and $10 at the gate. Children 5 and under are free. Advance tickets are also available at Longhorn Saddlery in Dubuque and Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa and the Owners’ Club, as well as Blain’s Farm & Fleet and Casey’s General Store locations. Farm Fun Day
July 8, 10 a.m. until noon at The Shenandoah Riding Center. FREE event. Association. Join us at Shenandoah Riding Center for a Farm Fun Day. This is open to the public, and all ages are welcome to attend. There is no charge. Donations welcomed. Milk a cow, make ice cream and butter, visit the petting zoo, see farm machinery, and more. Hosted by Jo Daviess Farm Bureau and The Galena Territory
